Surfroam at a glance

Surfroam provides prepaid global mobile data with pay-as-you-go billing in 1 KB increments, offering travel eSIMs and physical SIMs. Operated by Telecomer OÜ, a licensed Estonian mobile operator (STO000392). Project launched in 2011; commercial global SIM since 2016 and eSIM since 2019.

Your SIM never expires

Your SIM or eSIM never expires — keep it for every future trip. PLUS and GLOBAL come with a lifetime balance: top up once a year to keep it active. ULTRA has a 30-day balance with the lowest rates, and every top-up renews 30 days for your whole balance.

How Surfroam works

Data-only service without a voice number or SMS. No data bundles, forced subscriptions, Surfroam-imposed FUP or throttling. Hotspot and tethering allowed. Automatic local network selection (manual option); Global adds Multi-IMSI. Speeds and service access depend on the local network and device. Secure roaming traffic follows mobile-network security standards.

Accounts, support and delivery

Manage and top up cards through MySurfroam. Groups can have managers and individual card access, without group service fees. Free eSIM replacement and balance transfer by request. Human customer support is available by chat and email. Physical SIM shipping: free Registered Post from €100; free DHL from €250, where available.

What if PLUS does not cover my destination?

We add a Global eSIM for free and move your balance — so you stay connected in 220+ countries.

Which eSIM should I choose?

PLUS suits most travellers and long-term use; ULTRA suits high usage and lower per-GB prices within 30 days.

Does Surfroam offer a phone number and SMS?

No, Surfroam is data only. Use internet calling apps or retain your home SIM.

Can I use a hotspot or a router?

Yes, on a compatible device; regular PAYG usage applies.

Do you limit speed or apply a FUP?

Surfroam does not impose throttling or a FUP; real speeds depend on local networks and devices.

Is there group management?

Yes. Group managers and individual users can access relevant SIMs via MySurfroam without an extra service fee.
