Does Samsung Galaxy support eSIM?

Samsung Galaxy phones from S20 series onwards support eSIM, including S21, S22, S23, S24, S25 series, Note20 series, and all Z Fold/Z Flip models. Important: Samsung phones purchased in the United States typically do not have eSIM enabled. Phones purchased elsewhere work globally.
Does my phone need to be unlocked for eSIM?

Yes! iPads with Wi-Fi + Cellular (from iPad 7th gen, iPad Mini 5th gen, iPad Air 3rd gen, iPad Pro 2018+) support eSIM. Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and newer 5G models also support eSIM. Wi-Fi-only tablets do not support eSIM.
Does Apple Watch or Galaxy Watch work with travel eSIM?

No, smartwatches (Apple Watch, Samsung Galaxy Watch, etc.) are not supported by Surfroam eSIM. Smartwatch eSIMs work differently and require carrier-specific plans. Surfroam eSIM works with smartphones, tablets, and laptops only.
How many eSIMs can I have on my phone?

Most modern phones can store 8-10 eSIM profiles, but only 1-2 can be active simultaneously. iPhone 13 and newer can have two eSIMs active at once. iPhone 14+ (US models) are eSIM-only with no physical SIM slot. You can easily switch between stored eSIM profiles in your phone settings.
What if my device is not on the compatible list?

If your device is not listed but you believe it supports eSIM, dial *#06# to check for an EID number. New devices are released frequently, and our list may not include the newest models immediately. If you have an EID and an unlocked device, Surfroam eSIM should work.
Can I use eSIM on my laptop?

Why doesn't my US-purchased Samsung/Pixel have eSIM?
