The Surfroam SIM card uses multi-IMSI profile technology and is therefore different than any usual local SIM (IMSI stands for International Mobile Subscriber Identity). Present time we use Global, Global+, and Ultra profiles embedded in one Surfroam SIM.
Each profile is supported by a different set of carriers and network agreements. We decide which profile with which network(s) can be used in each country.
In each country, there is one preferred profile and at least one open network.
The Surfroam SIM tries to connect to a network on the current profile and then, if necessary, switch to another profile.
